So, another long period without anything appearing here...and not much in this post either. I'm just sat here eating dinner before taking a snooze so I figured I'd add something here.

Why am I taking a snooze, well I gotta go in to work early tomorrow to install patches to a couple of servers so I figured I'd sleep now and get up to watch the cubbies ball game just after midnight and then go straight in to the office.

So, time for sleep...told ya there wasn't gonna be much here....

So Greg Maddux got his 300th win on the second attempt :)

Yeah ok, I know it happened nearly a week ago but I've been busy. I'm just happy he made it, and that I got to watch the game....even if it was on TV and not there. Although seeing as it happened on my dad's birthday, the memory of the game is somewhat hazy.

I'm getting to see more ball games now, mlb.tv is a wonderful thing. Nearly all the games, live everyday. Relatively inexpensive too, only $19.95 a month. A shame that most of the weekday games start at 1am over here. On the up side, the majority of the weekend games are on in the evening so I can watch them without staying awake all night :)

On the personal front, not much changing really. I've got back into PHP programming again, if you want to see my latest creation check out the links section from the front page. I'm thinking about making the source code public but not sure yet. I don't really want the hassle of maintaining it, but I'll see how much interest I get.

Well, back to work....

Feeling : Unmotivated

Don't know what it is this week, but I'm suffering a serious lack of motivation!

It's not as if I'm short on things to do...I have more than enough studying to do and with the addition of a Cisco PIX Firewall course to attend in September, that brings the total number of exams I have to do this year up to 7.

I guess I'm just feeling a bit frustrated and struggling to find a place to start on the ever increasing amount of work I have going on. That coupled with the alarming lack of energy I seem to have seems to have placed me in a bit of a rut. Hopefully I'll dig my way out of it soon.

ESPN didn't show the Cubs game last night, but it doesn't really matter. Maddux got replaced before the Cubs batters did the business so he wouldn't have got the win anyway. His next scheduled start is Saturday 7th against the Giants. Lets hope he does it this time :)
